The dissemination of information about Dianetics and Scientology via the Internet began in late 1995. With the emergence of the L. Ron Hubbard, Scientology and Dianetics sites on the World Wide Web in March 1996, there were as many as 1,000 visitors a day. In two years, traffic to these sites increased 40 times.
