hurch of Scientology International (CSI), headquartered in Los Angeles, is the mother church of the Scientology religion. Its Board of Directors is composed of the highest ecclesiastic management officials of the Scientology religion. A long-term, experienced Church executive, the Reverend Heber C. Jentzsch has served as its President since 1982 and is the official spokesman for CSI and for the religion as a whole.

During the last 40 years, Scientology has expanded into 133 countries, including Russia, Romania and Albania in Eastern Europe, and China, India and Pakistan in Asia.

CSI provides ecclesiastical guidance to churches, organizations and groups and the broad planning and direction needed to advance Scientology around the world.
