ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS MOST COMMONLY ASKED BY MEDIA

  • In a literacy program in South Africa, the average gain in reading age was two years and three months. Further, students trained in study technology in government schools have demonstrated an outstanding increase in pass rates for all subjects. In one year, as an example, the average pass rate in 19 schools increased from 43 percent before the use of study technology to 78 percent after it was implemented.

  • In Mexico City, study technology was introduced into a private school. High-school students in one class had failed 95 percent of their materials. After application of study technology, the class passed 90 percent of the materials the following year.

  • At one school in Los Angeles, California, where study technology is used throughout the curriculum, students taking college entrance exams regularly score 30 percent above the national average. And, in the nationally recognized California Achievement Test, fourth grade students score two or more grade levels above the norm in reading, math and language.

These and other results translate into effective education that enables individuals to acquire learning skills they will use every day of their lives.
