17 Aug 2006 — Boston Scientology Volunteer Ministers Help Over 13,200 People

Scientology Volunteer Ministers in Boston are Delivering Real Help

A Volunteer Minister goes over solutions developed by L. Ron Hubbard to help counter drug problems.

The Scientology Volunteer Ministers of Boston have helped over 13,200 people this past year.

A year ago, after Hurricane Katrina and Rita hit the Gulf Coast, the team of Scientology Volunteer Ministers pitched in to help care for the needs of those who were re-located to Boston. They have continued this work to this day, participating in weekly meetings of a group called "Coordination of the Caring," chaired by Senator Dianne Wilkerson and Representative Gloria Fox and formed to ensure the best possible treatment of evacuees of New Orleans.

The Boston Volunteer Ministers also operate a Scientology Volunteer Ministry in Dorchester to bring real solutions to this crime-ridden area. Offering tutoring with L. Ron Hubbard study technology, and other programs to reduce violence, this ministry gives one-on-one help to people of the community.

The Boston Volunteer Ministers frequently set up their tent at the Boston Commons to make technology from the Scientology Handbook broadly available. They frequently hear comments like this one from a woman who walked in to the tent a few weeks ago: "A friend of mine came in here yesterday and he said he felt a lot better afterwards. I want what he got!"
