1 Nov 2006 — Pointing the Way to a Less Dangerous and Happier Life for the People of Mochudi, Botswana

Members of the Police Department of Mochudi, Botswana have a new "weapon" to help them keep the peace -- a common-sense non-religious moral code that works.

With over 68 million copies in circulation, The Way to Happiness helps people of all ages, cultures and beliefs better understand that their own happiness, and the happiness of those around them, depends on the application of sound principles of conduct such as honesty, integrity, tolerance and competence.

As the book points out:

"Trying to survive in a chaotic, dishonest and generally immoral society is difficult."
It goes on to address the individual with this fact:

"Your own survival can be threatened by the bad actions of others around you."

And it further reminds the reader:

"Your own happiness can be turned to tragedy and sorrow by the dishonesty and misconduct of others."

And the reason for the smiles on the faces of the Mochudi Police? Following their workshop on the subject, they know that with The Way to Happiness they have the tools they need to succeed in their work.

"It is in your power to point the way to a less dangerous and happier life."
