10 May 2007 — Benvenuto to the Newest Scientology Mission of Italy, the Church of Scientology Mission of Genoa (Genova)

A center of culture, industry and commerce since the Middle Ages, the city of Genoa (Genova) is now home to the newest mission in the thriving Scientology community of Italy.

The city of Genoa (Genova) is now home to the newest mission in the thriving Scientology community of Italy.

The mission is located next to "La Fiumara," a shopping and entertainment center known as the "New Center of Genoa."

When the ribbon was cut, the doors of the Genova Mission opened, making introductory training and Scientology and Dianetics Counseling, workshops, seminars, Sunday services and community outreach programs available to the people of the city.

Perhaps best known for the great explorers that were her native sons, Giovanni Caboto (John Cabot) and Cristoforo Colombo (Christopher Columbus), Genova is now on track for a new age of exploration; as L. Ron Hubbard described it in Dianetics: the Modern Science of Mental Health, "an exploration into terra incognita, the human mind, that vast and hitherto unknown realm half an inch back of our foreheads."
