While they do not take the place of medical attention or first aid, assists address the emotional and spiritual side of the trauma, and help the person to recover fully and quickly from injury, stress or shock. Assists are described online on the Scientology Handbook web site. |
Volunteer Ministers from Scientology churches and missions provide service to their communities in cities around the world. The Church provides continental cavalcades and Volunteer Ministers Goodwill Tours to bring this help to people in towns and cities where there are no Scientology churches, and free online courses through a "virtual cavalcade" on the Scientology Volunteer Ministers web site.
