25 Aug 2008 — Scientology Volunteer Ministers in the Tribal Area of Santhal, in India

The Scientology Volunteer Ministers of West Bengal, India provided seminars to some of the Santhal tribes in the neighboring state of Bihar.
The Scientology Volunteer Ministers of West Bengal visited Santhal tribes in the state of Bihar. One of India's oldest tribes, for ages the Santhal have lived in fairly primitive conditions in the rural areas of Bihar that are particularly subject to floods, droughts and cyclones.

The Scientology Volunteer Ministers met with the tribal chief, informed him of the technology contained in the Scientology Handbook, and got his agreement to hold seminars that would not only help people cope effectively in times of disaster, but would also provide basic technology on study developed by Scientology Founder, L. Ron Hubbard.

The seminars were based on booklets from the Scientology Handbook.

The seminar was a great success and the tribe has invited the volunteers back to deliver more training.
