What is Scientology

In short, Scientology covers basic principles vital for anyone to achieve spiritual freedom and to accomplish his goals. But knowledge of any subject must include its application. One must be able to put knowledge to use in order to help himself or others. The final test of any knowledge is, “Did the data and the use of it in life actually improve conditions?”

Thus a major part of Scientology’s attraction is that it contains nothing which must be accepted on faith and presents no arbitrary authority. One uses its principles on the road to spiritual freedom and discovers for himself that they work.

The real story of Scientology is reflected in the daily miracles experienced by millions of parishioners; in its appeal to people from all walks of life from all over the world; in its attraction to the artisan and the academic, to the blue collar and the white collar, to government and community leaders, to some of the most famous figures in the arts.

What Scientology represents to man in the 21st century is something entirely new — the promise of nothing less than the total rehabilitation of the human spirit. What follows are the testimonials of but a few of those whose lives have been changed for the better through a religion now embraced by millions and spanning every continent on earth.

Training
The second central practice of the Scientology religion is training, the study of the works of L. Ron Hubbard which detail the spiritual nature of man and the basic principles of life, to improve one’s own life and the lives of others.
