ven before learning about Scientology 50 years ago, I felt I was doing well in life. Believing that I didnt need Scientology myself, I at first used it to help others. Using its principles, I was able to help my brother overcome life-long chronic asthma and resolve my wifes inability to bear children.
But then I discovered that Mr. Hubbard said, Scientology makes the able more able, and I realized that it was not aimed at removing disabilities, but that it worked positively to build the spiritual abilities one already has. I realized it could also work for me.
So I received my first Scientology spiritual counseling and my life blossomed. I became chairman of my local council, managing director of four companies and chairman of another. Parallel with my Scientology progress, life became steadily easier, even though I took on more and more problems. But my attitude toward problems was different. Confidence and certainty, the freedom to think for myself, and my ability to initiate the changes necessary to keeping ahead have been the foundation of my continuing happy and stress-free life.
Thanks to Scientology, I still work a 14-hour day, six days a week, mainly for charity, but I know with certainty that there is life after 70!
