Learning How to Learn for Life

I

n the early 1970s I struggled to find meaning and purpose during much of my college experience. I knew I wanted to be an educator and help children in some way, but traditional methods and studies in the field of education left me feeling I was missing something. I began to second-guess my choice of careers.

After discovering Scientology in 1974, I found out more about myself and life’s meaning. It became clear to me what it meant to become a “lifetime learner.” As a student and educator, I found out the importance of an individualized educational program (and how to design one) and I found out the exact ingredients of successful study. Since then my life and career path have become a certainty and I have become confident that I can reach many of my goals in life. For me, these alone are invaluable gifts.

I have devoted the last 25 years of my life to helping young people through effective, professional schools. Thanks to the many things I have learned in Scientology, I’m looking forward to the next 25.
