Learning How to Learn for Life

W hile at university, I discovered I did not know how to learn. I would pack my bag and go to the school library to study, then fall asleep once I opened my books. While I had an excellent memory and could memorize and get great marks, I didn’t really understand the material. I couldn’t apply what I “learned.” When the tests were over I’d forget everything. It was in one ear, write the test, out the other ear.

I realized I could not continue in school in this fashion if I ever wanted to become a competent professional. I would have to find some way to learn how to learn.

Then I found Scientology. While progressing through religious services, I learned Mr. Hubbard’s study technology. I remember feeling so upset that no one had taught me this before and that I had to go through my entire schooling without getting to square one. In Scientology, I learned how to study and really learn. Now, I can study anything and I understand and use what I learn. I am so grateful to have this ability now, and I want everyone to have the same ability to learn whatever they want, as it is how one grows as a person.
