ears ago, when I was starting out as a singer and songwriter, I had a problem. I wanted more than anything to have a successful career, but I was painfully shy. I knew that this was a problem of magnitude. How could I even get to first base if I could not perform my music for an audience?
What happened, thank goodness, is that I found out about Scientology. I decided to try it knowing I had nothing to lose. It saved my life, because it put me back in control of things and gave me the courage and confidence I needed to do what I feel I came to do with my life — lift people up with my music. After my first Scientology services, I gave my first-ever live performance, then another and then another. I have enjoyed this aspect of my life more and more ever since. I could never thank L. Ron Hubbard enough for his brilliance and for caring enough to help me and so many others.
I don’t even want to think about how my life would have turned out if I had never found Scientology.
