efore Scientology, I had a lot of uncertainties about myself and being an artist. Tormented was I. I had one desire to succeed as an artist but at the same time, I was being torn apart with indecision and the amount of art I produced was low.
I began to seek spiritual answers and moved from one practice to the next, always feeling unfulfilled. By a stroke of luck I picked up a book called Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health in 1983. The book was surprising in that it aligned with so many thoughts I had about myself, yet went far beyond anything I had previously imagined.
After reading the book, I started a course and received some auditing. Since then I have continued in Scientology and as an artist, I find it to be invaluable. I have experienced a certainty of self and true spiritual freedom, and I have never been happier. I would hate to think what my life would have been like without Scientology.
